Our Statement of Faith

See our detailed statement of faith below. If you have any questions about what we believe feel free to reach out to us on our contact page.

What We Believe...

-We believe the Bible is absolute truth and without error (inerrant) as the inspired Word of God.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 We understand that there are textual variants among manuscripts but that 95% of these variants are spelling differences (favor v. favour) or word order (Jesus Christ v. Christ Jesus) and that none of them affect any core doctrine.

-We believe that a correct view of Genesis is foundational to a biblical worldview. We believe that God created the world in six literal 24 hour days evidenced by the Hebrew word “yôm” used for “day” in Genesis 1:3, 8, 13, 19, 23, and 31, being qualified with ordinals (1st, 2nd, etc.) and "evening and morning". Everywhere in Scripture where “yôm” is qualified in such a way it refers to a literal 24 hour day. Therefore, according to the genealogies of the Bible the earth is around 6,000 years old. We completely reject the idea of molecules to man evolution which contradicts God’s Word. We believe God created man from the dust of the earth and Eve from his rib as Genesis 2:7, 18-25 states, which means man could not have evolved from chimps or fish as evolutionists believe.

- We believe God created plants and animals to reproduce after their own kind according to Genesis 1:11, 12 (2X), 21 (2X), 24 (2X), 25 (3X) - total 10X in Genesis 1! Therefore one kind (ie. reptile) cannot evolve into another kind (ie. amphibian). Noah only needed one pair of each kind (7 of some) not species.

-We believe that Adam and Eve are real historical figures, the first human beings God created. Genesis 2:7-25

-We believe that all human beings are created in God’s image and therefore have equal value and worth. Genesis 1:27

-We believe that therefore abortion is murder. We believe that life begins at conception and should not end until natural death. Psalm 139:13, Isaiah 46:3-4, Psalm 127:3

-We believe that God created a perfect world and gave Adam and Eve free will. Sadly they chose to sin by eating the forbidden fruit. Genesis 1:31; 3

-We believe that God designed marriage to be between one man and one woman and for that reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two shall become one flesh according to Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:8, and Ephesians 5:31.

-We believe that the flood of Noah's day was a global flood that wiped out all mankind because of their wickedness, only saving Noah and his family. Not only does God's Word claim this but the fossil records confirm it. Not to mention sea creature fossils found on the top of mountains! Genesis 7:19-23

-We believe that all men sin and fall short of the glory of God according to Romans 3:23. And that the wages of sin is death according to Romans 6:23.

-We believe that God sent his son Jesus to this earth to be born of a virgin. He lived a perfect sinless life and died on the cross to pay our debt. John 3:16-17, 1 John 3:5; 4:9, Galatians 4:4, Luke 2, Hebrews 7:26-28

-We believe that in order to be saved one must be born again which happens when one repents (turns from) their sins and puts their faith in Jesus alone for salvation and begin to live a transformed life. John 3

-We believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven according to John 14:6.

-We believe that good works cannot save you but that good works flow from a heart that has been transformed, for faith without works is dead. James 2:17, 26, Ephesians 2:9-10,  Matthew 5:16

-We believe that every man will stand before God someday and give an account. Those who have repented and put their trust in Jesus will be given the free gift of eternal life and those who have rejected him will be thrown into hell for eternity. Romans 14:12, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Hebrews 9:27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Revelation 20:15

-We believe that the gifts of the Spirit as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12-14 are still for use today, but have sadly been misunderstood and abused causing many to fear and reject them. Acts 2:17-18, 1 Corinthians 13:12; 14:39-40 (for more on our view regarding the gifts of the Spirit see the last chapter of Kelsea's book, "Training Godly Warriors".)
